Cecilia Cordero

Cecilia is a San Francisco native, aspiring filmmaker with a passion for documentary-style films. She received her AS degree in film, tv & electronic media from the College of San Mateo, and is currently pursuing her BA degree in cinema and broadcasting at San Francisco State University. Some of her film projects include collaborating with Hidden Gem Creative Studios to document and edit stories bringing awareness on social justice issues from the past and present, and with Freeman Media producing public education campaigns for medical clinics to help with funding for low-income families. Cecilia enjoys using her avid storytelling to help her put together short films of her own, focusing on some of the social issues of today. She also has a strong background in customer service in the hospitality industry.

She joined the IOFF family as the Film Festival Liaison in January of 2023 and is excited to be joining the Screening Committee team. In her free time, Cecilia enjoys cooking, swimming, developing new stories to create films for, and spending time with family and friends.
